Blogging for Business is such a long term goal that’s hard to keep in mind but I am inspired by all of you and all of the potential readers so I keep going, sporadically more than anything, but continuously.

Blogging is just one small aspect of building a business and it’s challenging when you don’t know if people are reading to the end as you rarely see comments and checking for new visitors is just not time effective. Building an audience starts with many seeds and a lot of hope, crossing fingers in hopes that one blossoms and just having fun on the way.

If you’re an artist, of any kind, you want followers on Facebook and any other social media site you’re on so that you can network and understand who you’re reaching and when. Your audience, although it’s fun to see your numbers grow on social media, should all be connected through a newsletter so you can ensure you have a personal connection with your fan, just in case you leave a social networking site for whatever reason.

As an author, you can build your audience by asking for reviews on book seller sites such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble and it’s free to do!
