What a busy but awesome day and it consisted of showering another with the love and attention she deserved. Although it did make me late for updating this post it was worth it as I had a wonderful time, too.

So then I wonder if fashionably late actually does exist and if it does, how late do you consider fashionably late and does it matter to you the reason for lateness?

I despise being late for something. I figure I made the commitment to be somewhere at a specific time I should be there, unless of course something extreme gets in my way.

It’s like knowing you need and want to achieve a goal – no matter what obstacles get in your way you just keep going. When you lose so many contests and get the notices all in one week, to continue entering them despite your grim outlook on chances. When things just don’t seem to be going right you keep focusing on the goodness of your life to make it easier to continue.

And when you’re feeling blue and like you’ve had too many days of no luck at all, to have a day to celebrate you no matter how late in your life it seems to be.

That’s what I did with my afternoon. I didn’t worry about being right on time or where else I should be. I was with a friend and that’s where I needed to be at that moment.

Everything else could be even later than fashionable.
