A tale of raw emotion, triumph and desperation. Just three years old Alexis has already lived the life no person should ever have to bear and yet somehow she pulls through it.
After an illness that caused an innocent girl to lose her hearing, her mother, Stella, lost her faith. But that wasn’t even the end of the heartbreak this family had to endure. A silent Alexis is silently distracted by a puppy and is stolen from a park, right under her mother’s eyes.
R.A. Giggie writes this sordid tale so beautifully it makes the reader appreciate their own family just a bit more. It certainly had me appreciating the trust people have in faith and the hardship so many other families have to go through.
I’m eager for R.A. Giggies next novel as I have faith in her ability to write a great story!
