Facebook is often littered with comments that people want to “dislike”. There are groups for the cause of having Mark Zuckerburg update Facebook *we all know it’s done constantly* to include a dislike button. I disagree with this idea as we already have enough negativity in our world.

I wonder if Mark and the other brains of Facebook believe in the Law of Attraction and are using this “like” feature as a way of giving back some positive thoughts to the world.

So many of us frequently update our status to something inspirational, motivational and uplifting. Whether it’s “my son is now potty-trained”, “my new dog has been accident free for a week” or something more general and involved like “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford

And then there are so many others who shout “it’s Monday again, why won’t it go away?”, “stupid car wouldn’t start,” “darn it, more snow,” and “it’s way too hot.” These are some of the statuses Facebook users want to “dislike” but don’t have the option.

I say, let’s leave the negativity for our old fashioned newspapers, CNN and the like and use Facebook to spread happiness, cheer and success.

Who’s with me on this?
