A cliche but Echo Park was a page turner from beginning to end. With the unsolved case of Marie Gesto haunting Detective Harry Bosch 13 years after her disappearance you never know what twist Connelly is going to write into the next page.

While learning to admire Bosch’s persistence you always are left wondering if he’s really the best guy for the case. With his twisted tales of love and sordid way of cracking a case, this detective is one that takes his job to heart.

Although I was left with questions that I feared I would be left to ponder, almost everything came together in a shocking and intriguing way. I’ll just always wonder what happened with Walling and Bosch the first time around.
