Fabulous!

As unrealistic as I hope some aspects to be, I was pulled into this novel quickly and realized how possible it might be as well as naive I very well am.

I immediately fell in love with Eve and her relationship with Joe and the storyline of this, although seemingly written as secondary, pulled me through like gravity on a water slide. Albeit, I very twisty and turning slide with many terrifying hills and valleys but Johansen ease of this storyline and making it seem like it’s something that happens regularly had me gripped to my seat for the past week.

While Eve, a master at facial reconstructions, was beckoned by a weapons dealer, through the promise of naming her daughters kidnapper and murderer, there was enough foreshadowing to have me immediately add Quicksand (Eve Duncan Forensics Thrillers) to my Amazon wishlist.

A must read for any mystery fanatic as the character stories will have you reading it quickly and wanting more.

Thanks for reading,
