I received a copy of The Night of the Gun from SimonSays/ Simon and Schuster and am very happy I did. Not sure of what to expect I simply expected a tale of turmoil, difficulty and drugs and read about all that and so much more.

David Carr’s story of hardships and successes, family and friends filled me with sadness, confusion, triumph and hope. I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to re-live the memories, however convoluted, but if they save one person from similar circumstances I hope he knows it was worth it.

I will be passing this on to spread the word that success is possible, that good is feasible for a person who can be bad and that everyone who has ever experienced good deserves it.
