Parts of this novel chilled me like very few do. I grimaced at the idea that some people just don’t respect women but they are out there so I forced myself through the thickest situations.
This is a book driven by plot with a bit of a character relief at the end. To say I enjoyed the book creeps me out a little but it was definitely well written, suspenseful with a dash of romance that I enjoy reading.
Detective Kincaid feels the same way as she stares at drawers, walls and tolls while the autopsy is preformed on young Angie Vance, Becca and then Angie’s friend Jodie, three young girls with their whole life ahead of them. The story of Kincaid is a heartbreaking one that you want to find a miraculous way to find answers but her concern is now these girls and catching the killer before another victim is had.
