As a Canadian author, I truly love the ability to support other Canadian authors in their living through passion. It is never a competition, it is a community.
When a friend of mine from high school excitedly revealed the upcoming launch of her sister’s book, of course I wanted to know more and immediately signed up to help promote her first book Wish, the first of The Onyx Mist series.
Books are for everyone and Canadian authors are fabulous so deserve to be celebrated, supported and shared. There is room on every shelf in every library for every book as a reader may love Sara Flanagan‘s book, not like mine or take a leap, buy them both and love them equally. We are all different, our stories are from our own perspective and passion, and people deserve praise for finding the courage to do what they love.
Congratulations, Sara. May your Wish be everything you hoped for and more!
