Within 48 hours my breathing will be clear once again and I will have a few hours of quality time with my husband.
Starting simple as I know I’ve done everything this week to encourage free breathing and have a dinner date planned with my husband and some friends. The challenging piece of this is that whenever we go out it seems we focus the conversation around our son, worry about how he’s behaving or keeping our volume down to let him sleep. Time scheduled, quality time is the needed bit.
I do know it will happen like Augusten Burroughs knew he’d be a best selling author despite his struggle with alcoholism.
So Pam Grout inspires her readers to see themselves receiving something in the next 48 hours. To be specific and reasonable within this time frame. As in, though I will earn a substantial income from my writing, I understand the drastic switch will not happen within 48 hours. It will happen over time.
What I am struggling with is the idea of trusting the universe will provide balanced with doing and simply trusting. As in, knowing the outcome will happen and not focusing on how while we still need to take action and do our part to get there. For example, I know my books will sell and will be enjoyed, but if I do no marketing or tell people they are there the universe won’t just have people discover them all in one day years from now, I need to market them. But then I’m focused on the how instead of trusting it will happen.
I look forward to reading the rest of E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality will elaborate on that for me.
