Ask and you shall receive is the general rule of this experiment. Asking God, the Universe, “FP”, the higher being, whatever name you put on it, for a gift plus a sure sign of such gift.

In Pam Grout’s E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality, the reader is encouraged to forget all ill feelings of selfishness and undeserving aside in an effort to tap into what energies are out there waiting for us to use.

In doing so, each experiment consists of lab for us to use to document our efforts, successful or doubtful, and in doing so realize how wonderfully this can all work, if we put in the effort and forget all the guidelines we likely grew up with.

At 16:46 AST on Saturday January 18, 2014 I set myself a deadline of 48 hours, like the book suggests, to receive something. Not being specific, just simply letting out the intention that something good will come my way before Monday at 16:46 AST.

Having already made leaps and bounds with my effort to write more this year, E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality will certainly help me prove to my readers how fantastic the world will be if you believe it so.

The remarkable thing about the beginning of this story is that I recently won this book, courtesy of Kathy Mecure – Storyteller and Freelance Writer which certainly proved that timing is everything.

Please join me on this journey of brutal honesty (as always) and acceptance of all the great that’s coming our way.

PS: Gifts received so far include- a snow storm, dinner with my two men, my husband sharing his dessert, my son skating very well, a new babysitter and meet with an old friend.

Thanks for reading,
