Follow your dream – a well recited inspirational message meant for everyone of all ages, shapes, backgrounds and passions. It takes all kind to make this world run – from the power crews braving the weather to get your lights back on, the janitor ensuring you don’t slip on spilled milks, to lawyers and artists and writers, oh my!

In a world we’re told to be ourselves, to follow our dreams and find our true passion we often find ourselves working full time to pay our bills. Only those lucky enough to be able to incorporate a passion into their profession, I believe, can truly be happy.

Some of us love what we do for full time pay, are inspired by making so much for doing what we love while others struggle to find the time to listen to ourselves breath, to follow our gut.

In this same world we’re told the impossible is a fable/myth/legend the jobs that may make people shine are cut everyday. CBC is struggling to bring us the Canadian content we’ve all grown to love. Newspapers are going digital which opens some jobs up for the digitally advanced but at what cost?

So tell me, are you living your dream to pay the bills or even for extra income?
