Larry's Party by Carol Shields

An amazing tale of love lost and gained, motivation and inspiration and in such a simple complex tale of Larry and his friends and family. I would recommend this to anyone and have sent it on for a friend to enjoy.

A new friend just made me aware that Carol Shields is a Canadian author! Although born in USA she moved to Ottawa, Ontario, then settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba and eventually moved to Victoria, British Columbia where she sadly died of breast cancer in 2003.

This adds interest to her books for me as I love supporting Canadian authors.
